I have been busy !

I have joined a great group of women to gather twice a month to do rug hooking . It has been so much fun and inspiring . We all hook differently and just share tips and help each other with color planning . Some hook in 3 and 4 cuts and a few of us do 8's and 9 cuts . Most of these women have been hooking for years and have taken classes from famous teachers , like Barb Carroll and Jan Hester and Betsy from Heavens To Betsy . They have great stories !

This pattern is my current project . Summer Basket by Woolen Memories . I Love Sandy's patterns . She doesn't live too far from me, so I buy her patterns and she has the nicest

over dyed wools that are all washed and ready to go !

The fnished pattern is from Heavens To Betsy , it is called Early Morning , this was a pattern by Payton Primitives . The needle punch design are both Lori Brechlin's from Not Forgotten Farm I made a few years ago .

These gals have gorgeous rugs they have hooked and introduced me to a Wonderful World of Hooking !!! I will have to show you in an upcoming blog post  !!!

Back to hooking !!!

I have been busy hooking hearts ......my favorite motif !

The Mittens are a pattern from an old Kindred Spirits magazine . Saundra Porter from Woodland Junction and I both hooked them last year. This year when my sister in law visited , she had mine hanging around her neck as she was leaving !!! I had to make a few more !!! LOL  .She has 2 Cmas gifts ready for 2023 !!!

Then I hooked a favorite pattern I have always loved ...simply called "Hearts" by Heavens To Betsy . It was a pattern by Payton Primitives.

Hope you are having a day filled with Sweets & Love from family and friends !

Rows of Tiny Houses

Last year my husband created these rows of houses. The houses are all about one inch tall. He even created fake snow for some of the houses. We sold some at a nice local craft fair in November . If anyone is interested in them let me know !

Happy First Day Of Winter !!!!

This Is a pattern by Woolen Memories . I hooked this in January . She doesn't have a name for it though. It was another fun design to hook .

We won't be having a White Christmas again the year. Thursday night into Friday we could get 3inches of rain & high winds . My little grand children have not had a white Christmas yet ....we might have to drive to Vermont to visit my brother . They just got 17inches of snow ! However they are going to get rain too , Then it will get very cold and be Icy ....that is Winter in New England though !

Snowmen !

I purchased this wonderful dyed linen from Adams Woolens at a Hook In in October . It was perfect to hook these little Snowmen , you didn't have to hook the background !!! I made a few and sold them at a local craft fair we did in November . Simple  & Fun !!!! They are 7 & 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches wide . I wish I had bought more !!!

Too many Spam Comments

Overwhelming spam comments have stopped me from posting new things . They are all from "Unknown" and usually they comment on the same two posts . Marking them as Spam & trying to block them has not worked . Blogger needs to help us prevent these unwanted comments.

Some of our Door Toppers

Our Door Toppers are 35 and 1/4" long and 3 and 1/2" tall and are made to fit over a stand door frame with an inch to spare on either side. There are saw tooth hangers on each end to hold them on the wall. We also have shorter sizes.
