I purchased this wonderful pattern from Lucille Festa when I was at The Quiet Corner Hook In a few weeks ago . It is called "Ossining" , it is where she grew up . Lucille's colors are just gorgeous . I started this last week . It is already 93 degrees here today and will remain Hot, Humid until Wednesday . I will stay in the air conditioning hooking away !
Hope my friends who hook have fun projects to keep busy thru this heat wave !
Good start. I also love Lucille's overdyed wool, she does the 'dirty muddy' very well and find them irresistible.

DeleteThat looks like a fun project! Hope you stay nice and cool. Even here in Nod we are in the wave...90's for the next 3 days, with heat indices of 95-105. Since a/c in Nod is rarely needed, I only first turned it on in the wee hours of this morning when I got up to take a pain reliever for my back. I set it to 70º and went back to bed. I woke up absolutely melting and found hot air pouring out of my vents...and the inside temp was already at 84º. I've since shut the entire system off but it the temp has only climbed. Had there not been hot blowing out for several hours, it would never had gotten this warm inside. Waiting on the service tech to get here. Called at 9 a.m, got through at 10...and it is now after 5. Argh!!!!
