I have really enjoyed hooking this pattern ....I did make a few changes though . The first picture shows the colors I originally used . Then I decided to make the outlines of the houses a darker mustard color. I didn't like how bright the basket of the flowers looked , so used a bit of walnut stain to tone that down . My next change was the rug under the basket ....I made it look like a braided rug . I put the rug aside for a week and think I am happy with the changes . Will steam it again and get it ready to bind ! I am kind of sad to have it finished . It was fun to hook .

Oh Nancy...this turned out truly lovely!! It was great to begin with but your changes make it better. I think my favorite of your changes is the rug under the basket. I admit I really liked the original version but when I saw what you did with it, I changed my mind LOL. Your version works so wonderfully with the border you chose...which, in turn, ties in all the colors of the basket, the houses, etc. Love it!
